2. What information should be included in a summary?
3. Read the summary of “A Medical Pioneer”, and answer questions.
1) What main points of the original text are included?
2) What information of the original text is left out? Why?
3) Does the summary include the opinion of the summary writer?
4. Divide the text “A Medical Pioneer” (pages 52–53) into four parts and write out the relevant paragraphs for each part. Match each part with the correct focus.
