二、可数名词与不可数名词
1. 可数名词：可数名词有单数、复数之分。其复数形式一般要加-s或-es。如：

2. 不可数名词没有复数形式，只有单数形式。如：

(1).the number of 表示“.......的数量”，后面接可数名词复数。做主语时，主语是number,而不是of后面的复数名词，故谓语动词应用单数形式。
(2).a number of 表示“许多”，后面接可数名词的复数，相当于many。作主语时，主语不是number,而是of后面的复数名词，故谓语动词应该用复数形式。表示数量的多和少时，则用large 和small修饰number.

If 在句中意为“如果”，引导的是条件状语从句，主语用一般将来时，从句用一般现在时表将来（即主将从现的原则）。但if引导的宾语从句，从句可以用一般将来时。
