Step 1:Warm-up
1.日常口语问候。
2.头脑风暴。教师说中文，学生快速说出英文单词。
3.口语练习。
Step 2:Presentation
1.出示单词卡片和图画教学单词countryside,shadow,lower,smarter,become。
T:This is a city.And that is a countryside.Write the word on the blackboard.（出示城市和乡村的两幅图）同理出示单词卡片教学单词shadow,lower,smarter等,并教学生跟读。
2.T:Spring is coming!The sky is cleaner and the sun is brighter.Can you think of any other changes?观察四幅图片并描述。可给出提示:Which season is it?It’s …
3.练一练。（Read and write）
(1)学生独立阅读课文，边读边理解，圈出不懂的地方。
(2)学生阅读并理解下列句子:①It is getting lower and lower,but his shadow is getting longer and longer.②Why is my shadow longer when the sun gets lower?③The sun goes down every day，and we grow older every day.④Your shadow grows longer because you are growing taller.
(3)汇报交流成果。
(4)教师讲解学生不理解的部分，学生做笔记。
(5)开火车读短文。
Step 3：Consolidation and extension
1.领读Read and write 中的句子并纠正读音。
2.师生互译下列句子。
(1)It is getting lower and lower,but his shadow is getting longer and longer.
(2)Your shadow grows longer because you are growing taller.
3.再读短文。完成Read and circle版块内容。
4.小组对话。完成填空练习。（Read the story again and finish the dialogue.）
5.畅所欲言。讨论并完成Think and discuss版块内容。
6.学后反思:请学生总结并交流答题技巧。
Step 4:Homework
1.听录音朗读Read and write。
2.完成配套练习。
3.完成练习册对应习题。
