句型梳理
1.（教材P18）I believe that all of us enjoy watching a comedy film or hearing a good joke, because it makes us laugh all the time.
我相信我们都喜欢看喜剧电影和听好笑话，因为它总让我们笑。
句中的“makes us laugh”为“make+宾语+宾语补足语”结构。其中laugh是省略了to的动词不定式做宾语补足语。
“make+宾语+宾语补足语”结构
该结构的具体形式：
（1）make+名词/ 代词+不带to的不定式。当该结构用于被动语态时，不定式符号to要还原。
（2）make +名词/ 代词+过去分词。该过去分词的动作与宾语是动宾关系。
（3）make+名词/ 代词+形容词。表示“使某人或某物变得……”。
（4）make+名词/ 代词+名词。表示“使某人或某物成为……”。
Every day my parents make me have an egg.
=Every day I am made to have an egg by my parents.
我爸妈要我每天吃一个鸡蛋。
2.（教材P108）It's almost as if humour is hard-wired into us.
这几乎就好像幽默是我们与生俱来的。
本句中的 as if (= as though) 引导方式状语从句。as if/ as though 可引导方式状语从句和表语从句。
as if引导的从句
主要用法：
（1）若引导的从句所描述的是事实或极有可能发生的事情，则用陈述语气。
We've missed the bus. It looks as if we'll have to take a taxi.
我们错过了公交车。看来我们好像得打车了。
（2）若从句所述的是虚拟的情况或可能性很小的事情，则用虚拟语气，此时从句的谓语有三种形式：
① 与现在的事实相反：从句谓语用一般过去时，若从句谓语是be动词，则从句谓语通常用were。
She loves the boy as if she were his mother.
她爱这个男孩，就好像她是他的母亲一样。
② 与过去的事实相反：从句谓语用过去完成时，即had done。
He talked with me as if he had known me well.
他和我聊起天来就好像他很了解我似的。
③ 对将来情况的虚拟：从句谓语用“would/ could/ might +动词原形”。
It looks as if it might snow.
天看起来好像要下雪了。
（3）从句的省略：若as if/ as though引导的方式状语从句的主语与主句的主语一致，且从句的谓语为be动词，则省略“从句主语+be动词”。
I had a sensation of falling, as if (I was) in a dream.
我有一种坠落的感觉，像在梦中似的。
