1. What things do you find easy to remember?
2. What things do you find hard to remember?
3. What do you want to know about memory?
4. What do you do when you can’t remember something? What memory tricks do you suggest?
5. Read the suggestions on page 60. Which suggestions are more helpful? Which suggestion works best for you? Why? Which suggestion was surprising?
6. After completing the truths and advice, talk about which truth is the most significant to you. Why?
7. Group Work: Think and share.
1) How has the expert tried to make her statements to each question convincing? What methods has she used and what signal words can you find?
2) Are there any answers given by Jemima Gryaznov that are not convincing to you? What are your doubts?
8. Read the tips on page 61. Which tips seem most/least useful? Do you have other tips?
