1.通过问题让同学们思考自己在日常生活中那些东西是比较容易记住的以及为什么，这会让学生更容易融入到情境中，从而为阅读做准备。
2.通过询问学生如果遇到记忆专家，会问那些问题，为下一步阅读做准备。

What advice does she give to improve one's memory?
| 进一步阅读使学生了解更多关于“Roots and Shoots ”的内容。
之前都是文章的输入，现在通过用做一个Presentation的形式来输出学到的内容。
- 通过让学生自己思考一些建议，让学生学会更好的利用自己的记忆。2.匹配科学的建议，通过发现自己给的建议与科学建议的不同之处，更好的科学的在自己之后的学习生活中运用这些建议。
3.之前的几步都是知识的输入，这一步对知识进行输出，让学生复述专家的建议
