2. on 开着的 off 关着的 （指电器）turn on 打开 turn off 关闭 turn up 调大 turn down 调小 句中有 a little 的时候 只能用turn up 或 turn down

3. alone 为形容词，意为 “独自的、单独的”（表状态），只放在系动词的后面做表语，，不做定语,侧重说明独自一人，没有同伴，alone 还可用作副词如：live alone意为单独居住 。Lonely意为孤独的,表示主观上感到孤独、寂寞，如：feel lonely 感到孤独，寂寞，它在句中可作表语或定语，，作定语时意为荒凉的，偏僻的.  He lives alone but he never feels lonely.

1. 含有连字符的复合形容词中的名词必须用单数  如 an 8-year-old boy

前句是肯定句 用so 引导   前句是否定句 用 neither 或nor 引导
助动词的找法，首先看前句中有没有 can may must would could should be will shall 这些词 有的话 就用这些词， 没有的话 就用 do  does  did  have  has
如 He lives in Tangshan, so do I . 他住在唐山 我也是。
   They had lunch at school, so did Tom. 他们在学校吃午饭， Tom 也是。
   They can’t speak French, neither / nor can we. 他们不会说法语， 我们也不会。
如果前句是由if 引导的条件状语从句， 后者用 so/ neither / nor + will + 主语 表示
  If you go to Beijing tomorrow, so will I .
  If you don’t have time next week, neither will Kate.
