【语法提要】
1.指示代词this, that, these, those的区别与联系
从意义上看,this意为“这个”,these意为“这些”,that意为“那个”,those意为“那些”。
从数量上看,this和that指代单个人或事物,后接单数名词;these和those指代两个或两个以上人或事物,后接复数名词。
从时间或空间看,this和these指代距离说话者较近的人或事物;that和those指代距离说话者较远的人或事物。
2.名词单数变复数的规则
一般情况下,名词直接加s;以s、x、sh、ch结尾的名词加es;以辅音字母+y结尾的名词,将y变i再加es;以o结尾的有生命的名词词尾加es,无生命的名词词尾加s,特殊不规则变化需要特殊记忆。
3.who引导的特殊疑问句
who引导的特殊疑问句通常用来询问人的姓名和身份,可以用来询问男性、女性、单数或者复数的人。常用句型“Who is+人称代词主格单数+其他?/Who are+人称代词主格复数+其他?”。
例句:Who is your English teacher? 你的英语老师是谁?
Who are the boys? 这些男孩是谁?
注意:其回答形式应为“人称代词主格+is/are+…”,不能回答为“It is/That is/These are/Those are…”。
例句:—Who's that?那是谁?
—He's my cousin.是我的表哥。
